There is no such thing as beauty without health
You cannot stay healthy if you do not get enough vitamins, trace elements (minerals) and amino acids; the body needs to be provided with all these in the diet every day if it is to continue functioning properly.
Unfortunately, the modern diet - which is largely dictated by the food processing industry - is providing less and less of these essential nutrients.
At the same time as artificial fertilisers, pesticides, nitrates, etc. Are damaging the soil. Plants need land which is constantly regenerating itself if they are to produce the important vitamins and minerals.
So nowadays, the livestock which eat these depleted plants are producing meat which contains less and less of the nutrients which we need. Being at the end of the food chain, humans are subject to deficiencies which build up over time resulting in anaemia, depression, impaired immunity and various forms of organ malfunction.
Vitamins, trace elements and amino acids act synergistically. If any single component is lacking, the whole system is compromised. Therefore, supplementation of the diet is crucial. However, the amounts of supplements consumed should never exceed the body's requirements. It is vital to follow a product's directions because overloading the digestive system can adversely affect the metabolism of these vital nutrients.
